Strategy and Communications

We design and implement creative, collaborative and inclusive service strategies across a wide range of community and organisational settings. Rely on us to communicate your vision, train your people in practical skills development and coach them to deliver effective results.

One conversation at a time

Coaching for sustainable performance: Coaching provides a safe space to reflect on personal and professional commitments and explore alternative ways to achieve them. Our coaching helps high achievers and up-and-coming talent manage their energy, find solutions and sustain their performance over time.

Plain English editing and coaching: Our Plain English editing service brings freshness and clarity to all types of documents from a letter or press release to a lengthy Government report. One-on-one coaching is available for staff at any level who want to improve the readability of their documents with results that show everyone has the ability to write clearly, succinctly and persuasively.

Teams at work

Facilitated decision making: Group decision-making can be tough, especially when there are lots of ideas about what should happen next but no clear strategy. Our facilitated sessions cut through the confusion and help teams to ask the right questions, draw on group knowledge and sort through priorities. Our skilled facilitators can help groups get unstuck so they can reframe their problem and better manage an agreed solution.

Stakeholder engagement: A team isolated from its stakeholders is a team in trouble. We help teams map and re-engage with stakeholder expectations and business strategy.

Mediations and Conflict Resolution: Grievance resolution can result in a procedurally sound outcome while leaving relationships fractured. This is a risk to both work health and safety and productivity. Mediation can enable parties in conflict to rebuild their relationship while feeling heard and respected. Sensitive mediation or conflict resolution session/s can restore workplace/committee/board relationships  and ensure understanding and acceptance of differing roles, for example, a manager and team member.

Training and facilitation: Equip your people to better lead, communicate and self-regulate through the delivery of workforce training designed specifically to your needs or choose one from our menu:

  • Wellness and energy management at work – evidence based strategies that improve employee engagement, job satisfaction and performance.
  • Everyday leadership – enlightened management practise for aspiring leaders
  • Strengths-based teamwork – helping teams make sense of workplace behaviours
  • Aligning corporate values with the customer experience – meaningful customer engagement

Ensure a return on your training investment and, consistent with your 70:20:10 learning strategy, add online coaching into the mix to enhance leadership capability and applied learning outcomes.

A business culture that drives performance

Community engagement strategy: Communities are complex systems of sub-cultures, values and political alignments. Our deep experience with funding bodies and communities experiencing social and economic disadvantage is at your service.  We advise on practical ways to build and sustain strategic relationships, and align cultural awareness with improved access to services.

Human Resources strategy: Do you need to negotiate an enterprise agreement, provide flexible working arrangements while preserving and building a productive workplace, and/or improve client service and corporate performance? We have the skills and experience you need to apply strategic HR approaches that attract and retain staff, especially hard-to-recruit professionals.

Employee achievement and development: Link employee activity to strategic directions and use development opportunities to underpin career progression and meet your organisation’s goals. Clarity and fairness are at the core of productive workplace relations. Our workplace systems development experience is strong and reliable.

Employee health and wellness: Employers have a legislative duty of care to provide a mentally healthy workplace. You can reduce or avoid employee rates of unhealthy stress, sick leave and the risk of mental health issues. We survey your workforce to identify both workplace concerns and job satisfaction. We then work with you to make a real difference. Our methods are affordable and we have the evidence to show they get results. Our proven strategies improve employee engagement, job satisfaction and performance.

The evaluation report is excellent – deft, subtle but firm in its findings. Quite masterful. Best of its kind I have seen.
